Reskilling Programs: (EDUCATION)
Through this program, we offer:
- Tuition for both candidates in primary and secondary school to better their performance academically. (remedial)
- Providing ICT courses
- Providing space for art to market their talent.
- Creating pathways for students ( linkage with other scholarship)
Empowerment Workshops:
Financial Literacy: Equipping refugees with essential financial management skills for
long-term stability.
● Supporting women with seed grants for them to be independent.
● Leadership and Soft Skills: Developing leadership qualities and interpersonal skills to
enhance confidence and adaptability.
● Entrepreneurship Support: Assisting refugees in launching and sustaining their own
businesses through mentorship and resources.
● Vocational Training: Offering practical and market-relevant skills training in collaboration
with local industries.
Mentorship program:
The Cultural Exchange Programs foster understanding and appreciation between refugees and the local community, while our Mentorship Programs connect refugees with mentors, guiding them towards self-sufficiency. Additionally, we organize women’s conferences and intensify our advocacy efforts on GBV mitigation and prevention.
Climate Action:
We are dedicated to not only supporting refugees but also ensuring they are equipped to champion climate action. At Saidia Initiative, we do train Refugees on environmental conservation and skills on urban agriculture.
